I have always loved vintage and retro-inspired interiors. Back in the late 1990’s, I launched my own range of home accessories and gifts using vintage French linen and antique mother of pearl buttons.
This label, Angel Linens, now sells all over the world and has been featured widely in interiors magazines in this country and abroad. I like to think that my designs invoke childhood memories of traditional British seaside holidays, church fetes and fireside teas with a contemporary approach that brings them right up-to-date for today’s homes and lifestyles.
With the launch of this website and my new lifestyle store, Angel, I have been able to add to my own collection with a selection of unusual and inspiring products handpicked from British artisans and small design companies from around the world.
I am lucky enough to live and work in some of the most gorgeous countryside, just outside the historic city of York and on the edge of the North Yorkshire moors, with my husband, Christopher, and Tilly, our mischievous but adorable border terrier, on the family dairy farm.
My new lifestyle store, Angel, which opened in March 2008, is located in the nearby, picturesque, market town of Easingwold and offers all the products you will find on this website as well as a selection of antique French furniture, mirrors and other unusual vintage finds.
Do come and see us, if you get the chance to visit this beautiful area of the country.
