I have always loved vintage and retro-inspired interiors. Early in 2000, I launched my own range of home accessories and gifts using vintage French linen and antique mother of pearl buttons.
This label, Angel Linens, now sells all over the world and has been featured widely in interiors magazines in this country and abroad. I like to think that my designs invoke childhood memories of traditional British seaside holidays, church fetes and fireside teas with a contemporary approach that brings them right up-to-date for today’s homes and lifestyles.
With the launch of this website and my new lifestyle store, Angel, I have been able to add to my own collection with a selection of unusual and inspiring products handpicked from British artisans and small design companies from around the world.
I am lucky enough to live and work in some of the most gorgeous countryside, just outside the historic city of York and on the edge of the North Yorkshire moors, with my husband, Christopher, and Tilly, our mischievous but adorable border terrier, on the family dairy farm.
My original vintage homestore, Angel, opened in March 2008, in the nearby, Georgian market town of Easingwold. Following a very successful 3 years, we moved to a lovely new, and significantly bigger, shop just around the corner in April 2011. Our store offers all the products you will find on this website as well as a selection of antique French furniture, mirrors, other unusual vintage finds, jewellery, fashion accessories and much, much more!
Do come and see us, if you get the chance to visit this beautiful area of the country.
